Zombie Girl is yet another project of Sebastian Komor (Icon of Coil, Bruderschaft, Moonitor, etc.)  This time around he is joined by his wife, Renee for the Back From the Dead MCD.  The easiest way to describe the sound of Zombie Girl would be tongue in cheek, horror EBM.  Renee’s vocals are both seductive and scary and Sebastian’s music is both pumping and freakish.  We Are the Ones features a high-pitched, ghostly synth pattern, thick beats, and seductive vocals.  Bleeder takes more of a techno sound with its cascading synths, intense rhythm, and brutal beats.  On I Want It, the music goes back to the creepy EBM style while the vocals remain ethereal in nature.  KMFDM remixes Creepy Crawler, a rhythm heavy dance floor killer complete with those KMFDM-ish guitar riffs.  Icon of Coil provides the Rotting Corpse mix of We Are the Ones.  On this version the beats are pushed up, giving it more of a danceable feel than the original.  Sebastian seems to be working non-stop and, for the most part, putting gout quality material.  Zombie Girl is just another facet of this multi talented musician.
