Jack's back!  Acid Again is the latest CD-5 from Meat Beat Manifesto and by the sounds of it, MBM is not slowing down.  On this new single can be found 5 versions of Acid Again, each completely different from the next.  The original version sports the old Thrill Kill Kult samples from Confessions of A Knife (you know the one……'never acid again') combined with standard MBM hip-hop beats, analogue synth sounds, and breaks like you've never heard before.  Of the 5 versions of Acid Again, this is the strongest.  The next mix (the Freddy Fresh Mix) jumps all over the place within the first few minutes before settling down with a constant, dub style beat, and random samples.  The Dub Again Mix is just that, a dubbed version of the title track.  The Depth Charge Mix 2 features a more metallic beat that goes through so many changes I could keep up with it.  The synth portions of the track are buried deep into the mix and only shine through in a few places.  Acid Again is definitely a diverse single that should appeal to both die-hard industrialists as well as tech-heads.
