Klirrfaktor is one of the newer bands to kit the scene. With their debut MCD on Bloodline, Klirrfaktor display their own professional sound and style. Caught somewhere between Melotron and and Funker Vogt, Klirrfaktor's pure EBM music is accompanied by softer, near synth-pop vocals. …Bis Der Artz Kommt is presented in three alternate version, the original, the Noyce™ remix, and the extended version. The original contains pounding dance beats, edgy sequences, a brutal rhythm, and well delivered / undistorted vocals. The really catchy thing about this piece is Klirrfaktor's use of the dentist drill sound. Yikes! That's has to be one of the most disturbing sounds ever. The extended version, as you may imagine, is just a longer, more dancefloor appropriate version of the original. The Noyce™ remix wasn't quite as diverse as I had hoped it would be. It is a tad bit darker than the original and it does push some of the beats forward into the mix, but judging from Noyce™'s own work, I had hoped it would be a bit more menacing sounding. The b-side, Zum Letzten Mal begins with the vocals juxtaposed against a clanking, raw, Neubaten styled beat. As the track progresses some synth-poppy electronics are added as the echoing vocals are tossed into the rear of this mix for the chorus. Overall, this piece has a very 'orchestra' or concert hall feel to it. So, now that I've whet my appetite with this MCD, I'm fully ready for the full length. Bring it on.
