KIDNEY THIEVES
- Trickster
Songs: 11 Time: 43:49
Well, after hearing Trickster
by Kidney Thieves I can easily surmise that Sean Beavan is a one trick
pony. Seeing as how he has mixed material for both Nine Inch Nails and
Marilyn Manson and now Kidney Thieves it comes to light just how
monotonous his style is. Kidney Thieves is a electronic rock duo whose music is
blatantly based off of the likes of Manson and NIN, but with an added (and I
suppose they believe unique) twist, the vocals are sung by a female.
Unfortunately this alone can not save the band from falling squarely into the
field with the manifold of other commercial rock bands that think that just
because they mix a keyboard and sequencer in amongst their throttling guitars
they must be 'industrial.' Don't we have enough (or even too many) bands of
this nature already? Apparently Kidney Thieves think not, thus we have this
circular waste of metal entitled Trickster.
