In the Nursery has always been a very unique outfit which defies any kind of classification or pigeonholing. Throughout their very long career they have seamlessly blended electronics with elements of classical music and ethereal male and female vocals. This disc is a live recording of the band at the Prague Bunker in September of 1994. Praha 1 is ITN at their finest. Dolores Marguerite C. sounds just as beautifully live as she does on record. Nigel Humberstone handles synths and sequencing while twin brother Klive, Dolores, and Q (of Uberzone fame) all handle various percussion from orchestral drums to military snares. This rich percussion makes ITN's live performance very energetic and powerful. During this performance they manage to touch on almost every record released up to 1994 for a total of 16 tracks. This makes for a good retrospective listen for longtime fans as well those new to the band's material. With any luck ITN will tour the states in the future, as this is surely a document of an incredible live act.
