This 7 track demo by Infrastructure
combines the sensuality of a band such as Dust of Basement with the
musical structure of a band such as Haujobb. I'm in no way saying that
Stacia reaches the apexes that these other bands have attained, but she does
seem to emit a style much like both. Tracks like Authority Rush,
Redemption, and Puppet have dense beats joined by smooth vocals and
quirky keys. Romeo comes across with crisp sequences, somewhat altered
vocals, and a steady dance beat. Rapid tech beats dominate the background of
The Third Hypocrisy while the foreground is comprised of Stacia's breathy
vocals and jumpy synth patterns. Gold Digger sports complex beat
patterns and noisy sequences. I feel that the vocals on this particular piece
could be pushed a bit more forward, as they are barely audible beneath the dense
music. Overall Infrastructure has a solid sound, but I think that a bit more
depth and complexity could be added to the sequences to push this release over
the top.
