God Module is a local central Florida duo who have recently come out of hiding with this, their first demo CD. Of the 7 tracks, there is not one that doesn't hold it's own ground. Pulling from several 'industrial' styles, God Module creates a distinct sound that rivals many of the bigger European electro bands. Pounding rhythms, dark vocals, intense beat programming, and catchy synth lines can be found in each and every track. Instant favs include Transitional Phaze (with its unsettling samples and strict dance beat) and Sight (with its bombastic beats, rumbling rhythms, and guttural vocals.) There are a wide variety of sounds throughout each track, some of which can be traced back to the styles of Evils Toy, Funker Vogt, and Wumpscut. While God Module does parallel these and other bands, they also incorporate all of these sounds together to create a fresh and diverse technique all their own. Look for God Module to be popping up on several compilations and look for their imminent debut CD soon!
