Frontrunner is yet another hard hitting electro band from South America.  Following in the footsteps of Aghast View / Biopsy and Morgue, Frontrunner has managed to get their music to the states.  Freedom's Forms is a 12 track CD that is broken down into a trio of separate 'Forms'; The Feeling, The Act, and The Oppression.  Revenge is the album opener, and a strong one at that.  Screeching sirens, loads of samples, a staticy synth pattern, and trippy beats comprise the majority of this hard electro dance track.  Looking For You VR 1.0 is another dense EBM piece with hollow vocals and deep, stable sequences.  Fellow Brazilians Deadjump remix Freedom into a dark sounding electro piece with a brisk rhythm, cyber synth stabs, and pulsating sequences.  This is a great, vigorous dance track!  Biopsy take the same track and give it an even faster feel by utilizing the beats and rhythm in conjunction with the inhuman / robotic sounding vocals.  Automation contains some nice beat changes, alongside of a tumbling rhythm and ominous sequences.  Taking a swing at the experimental / noise genre, Mechanism Automated is a chaotic instrumental with rolling beats and android-like samples and effects.  Traumaticonfinment is the final piece.  On this track Julio slows thing down a tad and ads in some wet sounding synths and cybernized synth patterns.  Freedom's Forms is a complex album that displays, once again, the pool of industrial talent that lies in South America.
