FAV (Fucking and Vomiting) is the work of one Michael Krauss of Resenburg Germany.  Recently signed to the newly formed Daham Recordings label (founded by B-TON-K / aka Karl K.) FAV's debut is a hard-hitting combination of everything from EBM, noise, gabba, techno, and so much more!  Miscellaneous has an ever so slight Wumpscut feel to it, possibly due to the fact that it was mastered my Rudy R. himself.  Fans of the harder side of electronic music take note…..this is the CD for you!  Michael managed to meld together so many various musical elements that it takes several listens before you can even begin to pick them out.  Initially this CD will hit you with the edgier tracks such as Nicht, Warten, Von Der Gemeinsamkeit, and Wir Bekennen, many of which display FAV's appreciation for the denser techno / drum -n- bass sounds.  After a few more listens though, you'll easily start to get pulled into the less aggressive pieces (Verschweigen & Selection Bias) which indicate a more intelligent side to FAV's sound, mixed with some noisy subtleties.  There is so much going on through out this entire CD that it is nearly impossible to pin down a genre in which to place FAV.  All of the 15 tracks were recorded over a period of time ranging between 1996 and 1998 and each emit their own vivacity with plenty of energy and intensity.  My only advice would be to pick up this CD expeditiously.  Miscellaneous is not to be missed!
