E-Craft are back with a new EP on Maschinenwelt Records!  Reaktanz is a 5 track MCD featuring 4 new pieces and one remix (of Titten) from their last full length, Forge the Steel.  Reduced to a two man project, Reaktanz was recorded in December of 1997 and follows the same musical style as their previous releases.  Körper is an aggressive EBM piece with a brusque rhythm, gruff vocals, and pounding beats.  There are some lighter sequences running sporadically in the background, adding an atmospheric feel to the entire piece.  A fluctuating, noisy sequence begins Das ist Liebe?; a track that blends elements of both EBM and modern electro together with cyber-industrial sequences, rapid-fire rhythms, and hard-edged, semi techno styled beats.  The Grand-Nipple-Mix of Titten is a brutal electro piece with militaristic beat programming, scratchy synth lines, and guttural vocals.  A quivering rhythm is coupled with airy, cascading sequences on Was Ihr Wollt!.  While this piece is a bit slower than the others, it still maintains a highly danceable nature.  Lastly, Withered Side has a funky, vibrating sequence, laid back beat programming, and a watery rhythm. E-Craft never cease to amaze me with their powerful, dance-orientated mixture of EBM and electro.
