*Warning – May Cause Diabetes*  That’s the verbiage that should be included somewhere on this CD.  Code 64 is an overly light, sugary, synth-pop band hailing from Sweden. I really tried to give this album a better than average chance because, even though on the onset I did not like it, I still felt as if there was something I was missing.  Certain tracks, such as Airborn, showed so much potential, but fell flat.  Leaving Earth has a wonderful beat and a throbbing rhythm, but the vocals just ruin it for me.  The vocals aren’t bad per se, but they just seem too airy and whimsical.  I enjoyed the instrumental Airborn, but I think that one could have used some edgy vocals as the music is rather repetitive.  Musically, Run To You is a good track with some solid programming, but the vocals are to ‘80’s’ for my style.  I guess if you just can’t seem to get enough saccharine enriched Erasure than this CD is for you.
