Chainsuck’s latest release is this 5 track MCD containing remixes of tracks from their Wax Trax debut.  William Tucker seems to be the main remixer, as his hand has touched 4 of the five mixes.  Along with him, Chris Connelly and Paul Barker take part, each adding a bit of the current sound and style into the mixes.  For those of you who don’t already know, Chainsuck’s sound is more akin to ethereal dance and not electro or industrial.  Just because there are minimal amounts of electronics on this MCD does not mean that it is bad.  The beats are raw, yet firm, Marydee’s vocals are flawless and heavenly, and the atmosphere created by the music gives the listener a subdued sense of comfort.  In the mood for a quick change in musical pace?  In need of something much less harsh and more gentle?  Check out Chainsuck.
