AND ONE - Nordhausen
Songs: 12

After 3 years of silence And One are finally back on a new label, with their unique EBM\Pop electronic sound, and with this amazing masterpiece called Nordhousen. I can begin by saying that it was worth the wait. This has been one of those albums and with reason. Since I 1st got it, one listen was just not enough. From beginning to end this album quickly gets you hooked into the wonderful world of And One and leaves you wanting more at the end. Each track is as enjoyable and addicting as the next. For example Sometimes, the 1st single of their 5th album, is exactly what I mean when I say is additive. After playing it you won’t be able to get it out of your head. A very melodic synthpop piece, and trust me when I say, it is not your typical synthpop song It has a lot of creativity as does the whole album. Movie Star, My Warrior, Sweety Sweety (the next follow up single) are other examples of the And One melodic, addicting sound. Another thing that makes this band stand out, being original from any EBM \ Pop electronic band out there, is Steve Naghavi and crew and their original approach to their lyrics and sound – at times melodic, at times humorous, and at times a darker (but still melodic) approach. They have managed to merge many different styles of electronic music with an ultra clean sound. Now mentioning some of the darker and more aggressive tracks. We have Uns Geht’s Gut and Sitata Tirulala (new single), sung in German (another reason why the band is unique) adds to that darker, powerful melodic atmosphere. Heard enough??? I haven’t yet. I’m so glad they are back and going strong and the fact that they are releasing a lot more material consistently. Just take a look at their singles – always chock full of great material (that’s what I call a CD single). Go and get Nordhausen and any And One release, you will not be disappointed!!!
