ALLIED VISION
- Unburied
Songs: 10 Time: 56:45
Oscar Storm’s Allied Vision project is
one of the few electro acts based out of Spain. Unburied is 10
tracks of dark industrial with riveting synth lines, bombastic percussion
elements, and contorted vocals. Along with these elements you’ll also find
loads of nightmarish samples and melodic sequences. There are really no
comparisons that can be made between Allied Vision and any other electro group.
Oscar has managed to combine an array of diverse sounds and feelings on this,
his Zoth Ommog debut. All the Dead kick this CD off with enigmatical
orchestral movements, somber vocals, and frightening samples. A trotting
militaristic beat pounds behind Black Wizard while creepy sequences drift
in and out amongst the shrill vocals. Seemingly based around the concept of
electro noise, Demon Sect dons grinding synth lines, tumultuous beats,
and vocals that are distorted beyond recognition. There are also some symphonic
elements half-hidden within this piece which give it its uniqueness. Spreader
is an instrumental with cascading orchestral movements, bombastic beats, and
twisted samples. Cup of Sorrow begins with a jarring synth noise before
the riotous percussion and caliginous vocals begin. Once again this piece
contains some of those darker orchestral sounds. The album finishes off with
Insane Gargoyle, a piece with grinding sequences, jarring beats and abrasive
vocals laid upon a bed of more melodic synth lines. If there were ever a need
to compose music to go along with the opening of Milton’s Paradise Lost,
Unburied would be it.
